
Benefits Systems Officer

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Surrey is looking to recruit a Benefits Systems Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time hybrid working.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Proficiently use the Iworld/Northgate Version 6 ICT System
- Assist in maintaining all systems within Revenues and Benefits
- Ensure all systems used by the Revenues and Benefits Service are operational and functioning correctly
- Monitor system output, investigate faults, resolve errors, and escalate issues where required.
- Install and test software releases, maintain batch processes, GPI, user security, and system administration.
- Provide technical support, systems training, and resolve queries for Revenues and Benefits staff.
- Produce management information, reports, financial reconciliations, and support Benefits Subsidy and annual billing processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and business processes.
- Liaise with internal departments, software suppliers, DWP, HMRC, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, audit requirements, and Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support legislation.
