We are currently working with a respected Further Education College that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Maths Lecturer to join its teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in achieving their GCSE Maths qualification while delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in a supportive Further Education environment.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons to learners across the college
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- A relevant degree or Level 5 qualification in Maths or a related subject
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths, ideally within Further Education
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential
Desirable
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- Experience working within a Further Education setting
- Knowledge of current GCSE Maths curriculum and assessment requirements
