Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education college in Shoreham-by-Sea.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical teaching across Level 1, 2 and 3 Aeronautical Engineering programmes, helping learners develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry understanding needed for careers within the aviation and aerospace sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to transition into teaching.

Requirements

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
• Industry experience within aeronautical engineering, aviation, aerospace or aircraft maintenance
• Ability to deliver both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory across Level 1, 2 and 3
• A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent is preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A passion for inspiring and developing the next generation of aeronautical engineers
