
Brick Lecturer
We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Brickwork to join a well-established Further Education provider in South Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bricklayer looking to move into education, or for an existing construction lecturer seeking a new role.
The Role
As a Lecturer in Brickwork, you will deliver teaching across Level 1-3 programmes, adult provision and apprenticeships, helping learners develop the practical skills and knowledge needed for careers in the construction industry.
Alongside teaching, you will support learners to achieve their full potential, contribute to curriculum development and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality learning.
Salary: £33,487-£38,487 per annum (dependent on qualifications)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: South Yorkshire
We're looking for someone with:
- A Level 3 qualification in Brickwork (or equivalent)
- Industry experience within brickwork or construction
- A teaching qualification and Assessor Award, or a willingness to work towards them
- Level 2 English and Maths, or a commitment to achieve these
