We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installations Lecturer to join our Building Services team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to transition from industry to education, allowing them to share their expertise with the next generation of electricians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Levels 1-3
- Assessing and supporting learners to achieve their goals
- Providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining accurate course records
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Joining a supportive, experienced team committed to developing skilled electricians
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Recent and relevant industry experience
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate, support, and challenge learners
- Off-the-tools candidates with some teaching exposure are welcomed
Experience Requirements:
- Experience teaching in Further Education or private training environments (desirable)
- Assessor/IQA qualifications (desirable)
- Knowledge of awarding body requirements (desirable)
- Experience delivering apprenticeships or workplace training (desirable)
