Job Title: Creative Media Lecturer (Temporary)

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Creative Media Lecturer to deliver on our Level 2 and Level 3 Creative Media programs. This temporary position is for up to 3 months, with the potential for a permanent appointment.




Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Creative Media.
• Support learners through the full creative process, from concept development to final delivery.
• Utilise strong practical skills in podcasting, content creation, video editing, camera operation, and TV studio production.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
• Provide pastoral support to students with diverse needs.
• Maintain excellent organisational and administrative standards.

Qualifications:

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong practical and industry skills in Creative Media.
• Experience in teaching Creative Media within Further Education.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Creative Media or a related field.
• Teaching qualification is essential.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience delivering T Level Media, Broadcast, and Production qualifications is preferred.
• Experience supporting students with Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
