Learning Support Assistant

About the Role / Job Summary:

Morgan Hunt are currently working with an FE college based in Merseyside who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work 5 days a week. The ideal candidate must be Makaton Qualified and hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. This role is essential in providing support to students, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed in their educational journey.




Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with their learning needs and provide support in the classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
• Provide pastoral support to students as required.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress.

Qualification Requirements:

• Makaton Qualified.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse learners.
• Experience in providing support for students with varying needs.
