Job Title: Temp Admin Assistant
Contract length: Initially 3 month sick cover, but we do forsee this being extended by an additional 3 months
Location: Cumbernauld, Scotland
Hourly rate (paid via umbrella company): £17.36-£19.92
About the Role
Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrator Assistant to join their Procurement team based in Cumbernauld. This role will provide administrative support to the wider Procurement function, with a key focus on onboarding suppliers onto the company's internal system. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and can quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement team with supplier onboarding activities.
- Accurately input and maintain supplier information within the internal system.
- Process and manage administrative documentation relating to supplier setup.
- Ensure all supplier records are complete, compliant, and up to date.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather and verify required information.
- Monitor progress of supplier onboarding requests and follow up where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider Procurement team.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong data entry and record management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Effective communication skills with internal stakeholders and colleagues.
- Experience supporting a Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations team is preferred.
