Recovery Support Worker - London

Salary: Approximately £15.00 per hour

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and reliable Recovery Support Workers to join our team across London. This rewarding role involves supporting individuals with mental health needs, substance misuse issues, learning disabilities, or other complex needs on their recovery journey, helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual recovery plans.
- Encourage independence and empower individuals to achieve their personal goals.
- Support service users with daily living skills, education, employment, and community engagement.
- Build positive, professional relationships based on trust, dignity, and respect.
- Assist with medication where appropriate and in accordance with training and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to risk assessments and support planning.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and other agencies.
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a support, care, recovery, or mental health setting is desirable but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and non-judgemental approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
