Static Maintenance Operative

Morgan Hunt are recruiting a Maintenance Operative for a large public sector client based in the Bishopbriggs area. The role involves maintenance and repairs within the client's buildings. As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the facilities are safe and well-maintained. You will be expected to adhere to health and safety standards while effectively communicating with team members and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Utilise hand tools and equipment effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Proven ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Competence in using hand tools.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to obtain a basic disclosure check.

35 Hours per week
Long Term temp role - with the option to go perm
