Maintenance Assistant

Location: Glasgow

Contract: 4 months

Type: Temporary

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join a housing team in Glasgow on a temporary basis for an initial 4-month period.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support across housing maintenance, repairs and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Gas Servicing and Electrical Inspection programmes
• Monitoring compliance information and maintaining accurate records
• Processing and checking invoices
• Assisting with housing applications and general housing administration
• Liaising with contractors, tenants and internal teams
• Supporting the wider maintenance and repairs function

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a housing environment, ideally with knowledge of housing maintenance and repairs.

You should have:

• Experience of housing maintenance or property services
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, particularly gas and electrical safety
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience using Homemaster would be highly desirable
