🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Esports lessons across the relevant curriculum.
  
• Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
  
• Deliver Game Development and Game Design modules within Esports programmes.
  
• Support students with practical game development and design projects.
  
• Introduce learners to relevant game development software, tools and technologies.
  
• Support students with portfolio development and project work.
  
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
  
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
  
• Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.
  
  
  
  
  👤 About You
  
  We're looking for someone who has:
  
• Experience teaching Esports within an FE or Sixth Form setting.
  
• Knowledge or experience in Game Development, Game Design, Games Programming or a related subject.
  
• Strong subject knowledge across Esports and Games.
  
• A recognised teaching qualification.
  
• A degree or relevant industry experience in Esports, Game Development, Game Design, Computing or a related subject.
  
• Experience with relevant game development software or technologies.
  
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
  
• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
  
• A genuine passion for Esports, gaming and supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
