Recovery Worker

We are currently looking for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a substance misuse service in Chelmsford on a temporary 3-month contract, with an immediate start available.

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Contract: 3 Months
Rate: £18 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a mixed caseload of opiate, non-opiate and alcohol clients
• Supporting criminal justice clients, including those subject to ATR (Alcohol Treatment Requirement) and DRR (Drug Rehabilitation Requirement) orders
• Delivering effective, recovery-focused interventions
• Supporting clients to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies and other professionals

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working within substance misuse services
• Confidence managing a mixed caseload independently
• Strong knowledge of drug and alcohol recovery interventions
• Experience supporting clients within a criminal justice setting is desirable
• Excellent communication, organisation and case-management skills
• A recovery-focused and person-centred approach
