The Role
As Curriculum Manager - Plumbing, your key responsibilities are to lead the development of a responsive and excellent curriculum offering through effective leadership and management of the curriculum team. You will coordinate relevant projects and initiatives, keeping abreast of new developments in the field. The role involves fostering positive relationships within the community and with stakeholders, ensuring the curriculum meets local, regional, national, and global needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a responsive and excellent curriculum offering.
- Manage the curriculum team effectively.
- Coordinate relevant projects and initiatives.
- Develop, facilitate, and support curriculum changes.
- Manage staff timetabling and local budget for designated curriculum teams.
- Foster positive relationships within the community and with stakeholders.
Education Requirements
- Successful teaching experience in Further Education.
- Experience liaising with awarding bodies.
- Experience working to the Common Inspection Framework.
- Experience developing and delivering inclusive teaching and learning strategies.
- Experience leading and developing provision in accordance with quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience in self-assessment processes and writing development plans.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Relevant subject qualification.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in a teaching role within Further Education.
- Experience in developing lesson plans and assessing student progress.
- Familiarity with educational technology and teaching resources.
