โฐ Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

๐ท PAY - DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE (UMBRELLA)
๐น Less than 12 months: ยฃ16-ยฃ18 per hour
๐น 1-3 years: ยฃ18-ยฃ20 per hour
๐น 3+ years: Up to ยฃ22 per hour
๐ THE ROLE
We're looking for a Recovery Coordinator to join a dedicated team supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use on their journey towards recovery.
You'll manage your own caseload, build strong relationships with service users and work alongside healthcare professionals and partner agencies to provide person-centred, recovery-focused support.
๐ง KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
๐น Manage an allocated caseload as Care Coordinator
๐น Complete assessments, screening and recovery plans
๐น Use motivational interviewing to support positive change
๐น Provide 1-to-1 key work, POD and group sessions
๐น Complete risk assessments and risk management plans
๐น Triage service users and make onward referrals
๐น Work alongside prescribing clinicians and healthcare professionals
๐น Promote harm reduction and overdose prevention
๐น Support Naloxone distribution and Needle Exchange services
๐น Provide health education around BBVs and safer drug use
๐น Carry out urine/saliva testing and DBST where appropriate
๐น Connect service users with mutual aid and recovery communities
๐น Work with GPs, hospitals and partner agencies
๐น Maintain accurate and confidential case records
๐น Contribute to duty cover and the wider running of the service

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced or knowledgeable within substance misuse/recovery services

Confident with assessments, support planning and risk management

Able to build trusting relationships with vulnerable service users

Comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team

Organised and confident managing a caseload

Passionate about harm reduction and recovery-focused practice

Flexible, creative and committed to engaging with diverse communities
