Position: Dental Technology Lecturer

Pay: Up to £40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment across Level 2 and Level 3 Dental Technology programmes within an FE College environment.
- Deliver practical and theoretical sessions covering Dental Technology, dental laboratory procedures, prosthetics and industry-standard techniques.
- Support learners with the technical construction of fixed restorations within the laboratory environment, including Crown and Bridge work.
- Assess learner work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback while supporting learner welfare, safeguarding and employability skills.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years' recent practical industry experience within Dental Technology or a dental laboratory environment.
- Must be GDC registered and qualified to an appropriate Level 3 or higher Dental Technology qualification.
- Demonstrable practical experience in the technical construction of fixed restorations within a laboratory environment, including Crown and Bridge.
- Recognised teaching and/or assessing qualification, or willingness to work towards one, plus an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
