📍 Location: Southend

💷 Salary: Up to £30 to £33 Per Hour (Negotiable)

📄 Contract: Temporary / Full-time / Part time

📅 Start Date: ASAP

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Teach and assess Fashion Business, Retail and Art & Design programmes.
• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with college standards.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support learner achievement.
• Develop and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans and course materials.
• Assess student coursework, projects and portfolios.
• Support learners with their academic, creative and professional development.
• Embed current fashion, retail and creative industry practices into teaching.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
• Support learner recruitment, open events and wider departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and achievement.

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• A relevant qualification or industry experience in Fashion, Fashion Business, Retail, Merchandising, Art & Design or a related subject.
• Previous teaching or lecturing experience, ideally within Further Education.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion, retail and creative industry practices.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent is desirable.
• Good understanding of assessment and quality assurance processes.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
