💷 Salary: Up to £40 per hour (Negotiable)

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Residential Childcare and Childcare lessons to Further Education students.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements.
• Teach relevant theoretical and practical aspects of childcare and residential childcare.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
• Monitor learner achievement and maintain accurate student records.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Support learners with their academic and professional development.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and learner progression.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and college policies are followed.

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Relevant teaching experience within Childcare, Residential Childcare or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of childcare and residential childcare practices.
• Relevant industry experience within the childcare sector.
• Experience delivering engaging lessons to Further Education learners.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• The ability to assess learner work and provide effective feedback.
• A genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
• A relevant teaching qualification would be desirable.
