Health, Safety & Facilities Officer

Working across SB's corporate and residential property portfolio, you will support with the provision of Health & Safety (H&S) advice to staff, support and, where appropriate, undertake H&S audits and support the development and implementation of policies and procedures. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting and, where appropriate, leading facilities management and H&S projects across SB's corporate property portfolio and undertaking weekly H&S tests at Head Office. The HSFO will report to the Health, Safety & Facilities Manager (HSFM) and will:

• Work with the HSFM and other SB staff to manage the completion of actions from H&S audits, Fire Risk Assessments and internal audits;
• Play an integral part in the management of SB's Health, Safety & Compliance Management System - MyCompliance;
• Support or, as appropriate, lead on cross departmental projects ensuring key performance indicators are achieved within budget;
• Own the accident reporting process in MyCompliance, analysing accident and relevant incident data reporting on trends, escalating as appropriate and making recommendations for improvements to policy and processes following investigations;
• Support the HSFM in the delivery of an outstanding facilities management service and lead on health & safety tests at Head Office.
