SEND Lecturer - South East London

Morgan Hunt is working with further education colleges in South East London seeking SEND Lecturers to support learners with additional needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners' individual needs and abilities.

• Support learners with SEND, including autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.

• Adapt teaching methods and resources to encourage participation and progress.

• Monitor and record progress against individual targets and EHCP outcomes.

• Work closely with Learning Support Assistants and wider college teams.

• Help learners develop communication, independence and skills for adulthood.

• Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching learners with SEND, ideally within further education.

• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

• A learner-centred approach and an understanding of safeguarding.

• An Enhanced DBS covering the relevant workforce, ideally registered with the Update Service.
