Position: Health and Social Care Lecturer
Location: East London (Loughton)

Pay: Up to £36 per hour
Workdays: 5 days per week

Role Overview:

• Teach and assess Health & Social Care courses for 14-19 and adult learners.
• Deliver programmes from Entry Level to Level 3, including college-based qualifications and workforce development.
• Act as a personal tutor/course coordinator for designated students.
• Support student achievement, progression, retention and development.
• Must have a DBS on the update service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons and assessments.
• Develop schemes of work, syllabuses, learning materials and outcomes.
• Monitor and record student progress, assessment and attendance/discipline.
• Provide regular feedback, tutorial and pastoral support.
• Support admissions, enrolment, induction and student tracking.
• Work with employers and other agencies regarding placements and career opportunities.
• Maintain course records and prepare documentation for internal/external moderators and verifiers.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and course reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality and GDPR requirements.
