The role

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging English and maths lessons to learners with SEND.

• Adapting teaching and resources to different abilities and learning needs.

• Using practical activities to connect learning with everyday situations.

• Assessing progress and providing clear, encouraging feedback.

• Working with support teams to help learners achieve their goals.

• Maintaining accurate planning, assessment and progress records.

About you

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience teaching Functional Skills English and/or maths.

• Experience supporting learners with SEND, ideally within further education.

• A teaching qualification, or are working towards one.

• A flexible, patient approach to teaching.

• The ability to make learning accessible while maintaining high expectations.
