About the Role / Job Summary:
A trauma-informed is seeking a dedicated Project Worker to provide essential support, advice, and assistance to individuals and families in need. This role focuses on empowering clients to make positive choices and facilitating their transition to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one services including safety planning and advocacy.
- Support children and young people in accessing and maintaining education.
- Ensure the needs of individuals and families are met.
- Collaborate with relevant services to enhance support systems.
- Welcome clients and address their practical and emotional needs.
- Organise activities and group work sessions.
- Maintain high standards of information, advice, and temporary accommodation.
- Assist clients in attending appointments when necessary.
- Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to client needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in providing support to vulnerable individuals.
- Understanding of advocacy and support frameworks.
- Ability to work within a multi-agency framework.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education Requirements:
- A clean driving license and car ownership with business insurance.
- A Levels or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
- Ability to work at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in supporting individuals in stressful situations.
- Experience in facilitating support groups and targeted group work.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including those facing challenges.
