Position: Lecturer - Hair and Beauty
Location: Hornchurch, East London
Job Type: Temporary - Part Time
Pay: Up to £38 per hour
Workdays: 3 days per week (Mon, Tue, and Thurs)

Start Date: Immediately

Main Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging teaching and learning across Hair and Beauty programmes, including Level 3 Beauty Therapy for learners aged 16-19.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resources in line with curriculum and awarding-body requirements.
• Assess learners' theoretical knowledge and practical skills, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Monitor learner attendance, engagement and progress to improve retention, achievement and progression.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation and course reports in accordance with College procedures.
• Provide tutorial support and promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in practical salon environments and comply with College policies.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum colleagues, employers and industry professionals, and participate in continuing professional development to maintain high standards of teaching.
• Must have Enhanced DBS registered with the online update service.
