Electrician

Morgan Hunt is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a static role based in Dumfries. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with a strong maintenance background, carrying out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.

You will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems and equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine electrical inspections.
• Responding to reactive maintenance issues, fault-finding and completing repairs.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out remedial works.
• Ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
• Completing maintenance records and relevant documentation.
• Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations.

Requirements

• 18th Edition
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Must have or be willing to get a Level 1 & 2 Disclosure
