Electrician

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting experienced Maintenance Electricians to work with a large maintenance organisation, carrying out a wide range of electrical maintenance and repair work across domestic properties. The role will involve working in both void and tenanted properties, completing reactive repairs, remedial works, electrical testing and fault finding to ensure properties remain safe, compliant and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive electrical repairs and planned maintenance within domestic properties.
• Complete remedial works, electrical testing and inspections.
• Diagnose faults, identify issues and carry out appropriate repairs.
• Undertake electrical work within both void and occupied properties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current electrical regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any further issues identified.
• Deliver a professional service when working in tenants' homes.

Experience

• Strong experience in domestic electrical repairs, testing, fault finding and remedial works.
• Relevant electrical qualifications, including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Good knowledge of current electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads and complete jobs efficiently.
• A professional and customer-focused approach when working in occupied properties.
