Finance Officer
Morgan Hunt is working with an East London based College in search of a temporary Finance officer to take on a busy Accounts Payable position. This is a 3-month, full time contract with a view of turning permanent.
The role is office based and pays £14.31 holiday pay ( total of £16.04 an hour)
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Officer:
- Day to day running of the purchase ledger including coding, registering, matching and filing of invoices. This is a high volume role with the average pace of approximately 100 invoices a day.
- Setting-up new suppliers on the Finance system.
- Support the Senior Accountant and the Finance Business Partner in the management of the managements accounts.
- Ensure accurate financial data to enable production of accurate management accounts Report and Accounts.
- Financial planning and month end process.

Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Officer:
