Job Description
● Maintain the delivery of structured approaches to business process improvements and service design in support of strategic aims for professional and operational services, developing and adapting frameworks with a focus on:o Customer Value - Prioritise the needs of prospective students, students, and academics.
o Efficiency - Enhance clarity in task ownership and minimise duplicated activity.
o One University - Foster the adoption of common processes and practices.
● Facilitate targeted initiatives for business process improvement and service design within projects by guiding and facilitating the collection, documentation, and validation of top-tier business processes, requirements, and service designs. Assess the current status, pinpoint gaps and non-value-added elements, and motivate stakeholders to actively participate in identifying and advocating for process improvements.
● Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to
o Define and align on the appropriate scope of work.
o Document and model the relationships between people, capabilities, and processes.
o Identify gaps in capabilities, overlaps, departmental touchpoints and potential opportunities for enhancement
o Propose and support the implementation of streamlined and more efficient ways of working, all within the context of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
● Conduct a comprehensive analysis, research, and evaluation of documented business services, processes, and key metrics. Engage in the collection, interpretation, and analysis of data sets, presenting findings to validate current state issues and unearth opportunities for improvement.
● Lead, influence and provide support to stakeholders in overcoming challenges that could hinder successful project/initiative delivery. Facilitate buy-in and understanding to encourage colleagues across the organization to actively engage and where applicable, embrace new approaches to work.
● Plan the delivery of tasks for the work you are assigned to, track and report on progress of work to completion within given deadlines.
● Engage proactively in the Business analysis Community of Practice, actively sharing insights, recognizing areas for enhancement, and fostering continuous self-improvement.

Job Summary:
1) To generate and maintain budget reports and other spreadsheet based
reports in accordance with agreed timetables and department policies
and procedures.
2) To investigate significant variances by interrogating all the financial
ledger sub-systems, and to summarise conclusions in spreadsheet and
other forms for use by managers and senior finance staff.
3) To prepare costing spreadsheets for budget setting, and for financial
planning.

4) To meet regularly with budget holders and to provide information and
analysis to them. In addition to support communication of information
between them and other departments within Finance.
5) To resolve queries from managers and budget holders regarding
