Passivhaus Consultant

We are currently working alongside the UK's leading team of energy and sustainability consultants as they search for a Passivhaus Consultant to join their team. This is an extremely successful modern business that have been continuously growing year on year. A unique organisation passionate about the environment that offer a wide variety of building performance and sustainability services. Projects range from schools, community campuses, multi purpose buildings, high-rise flats, private and social housing.

Role

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate Passivhaus principles from concept design to completion.
• Carry out energy modeling using PHPP (Passive House Planning Package) and related tools
• Provide technical input on building envelope design, airtightness, insulation strategies, and thermal bridge minimization.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with Passivhaus requirements.
• Support project teams during construction through site inspections, quality assurance, and on-site training.
• Oversee or assist with airtightness testing, thermal imaging, and commissioning processes.

Qualifications/Experience

• Certified passivhaus design/consultant
• Experience using PHPP software and Design PH
• Experience working on new build / refurb domestic / non-domestic jobs to passivhaus standard.
• Solid knowledge of passivhaus standards.
• Good understanding of construction drawings
