Electrical Engineer/Electrician - Hertfordshire

Morgan Hunt currently require an Electrical Engineer/Electrical Bias for NHS based in Hertfordshire.

Pay Rate: £20ph to £24ph Ltd - Weekdays/ £26ph to £31.20ph Ltd Sat All Day/ £30ph to £36ph Ltd Sun All Day

Hours: 37.5 hrs shifts times between 06:00am to 19:00pm rota plus on call

Location: Hertfordshire

Duration 6 months on going contract

The candidate should have a current driving license and be prepared to use his/her vehicle for commuting between various hospital sites. A mileage allowance will be paid for this facility.


Job Duties

The candidate appointed shall be a technician with an electrical background and will conduct, with

minimum supervision, maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant, and equipment

throughout the NHS Trust. They will provide technical engineering advice and

support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric, and utility services for the trust.


Qualifications / Training

• NVQ Level 3
  
• City and Guilds Level 3 in inspection and testing of electrical installations.
  
• 18th Edition
  
• First Aid
  
• Health and Safety qualification/ certification. E.g. (Risk assessment training)
  
• Portable appliance testing City & Guilds 237
  
  
  Previous Experience
  
• Working in the Healthcare environment.
  
• Knowledge of HTM 06.02 (D)
  
• Experience of working within a team and own initiative
  
• Experience of working in a demanding environment with many, sometimes conflicting priorities.
  
• Experience in electrical maintenance and repair Skills
  
• A positive and initiative-taking attitude to manage a high volume of work and ability to problem solve.
  
• Computer literate to include Word / Excel / Outlook / Power Point.
  
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  
• Commitment to, and experience of, multi-professional working arrangements and projects.
