People Administrator
We're currently seeking an experienced People Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR team within a respected public sector organisation. In this varied and fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, absence management, learning and development, and employee relations. You'll also maintain and update HR systems, prepare contracts and employment letters, respond to staff queries, and support the coordination of team events and wider People projects. This is a full time temporary position until June 2026, paying £21.08 per hour (umbrella), fully remote.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations, taking ownership of processes, maintaining accurate records, and delivering a professional, customer-focused service to both managers and employees. This position would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy workload with changing priorities.
To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in HR or People Administration within a fast-paced environment, strong administrative and communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. You'll be confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, "can-do" approach. Experience working in the public or not-for-profit sector and a good understanding of HR compliance processes would be an advantage.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative organisation that values professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence. If you're an experienced administrator looking to further develop your HR career, we'd love to hear from you.
