Job Title: Psychology Lecturer - A Level

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 12.58 per week
Salary: £36,084 (£12,286.56 Pro Rata)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced A Level Psychology Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons to A Level learners, supporting their understanding of psychology theory and practice while helping them achieve excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons to a diverse learner cohort.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum and awarding body standards.
• Assess and monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, attendance, and learner progress.
• Support learners' academic and personal development, motivating them to reach their full potential.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in psychology education and A Level requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the college.

Person Specification:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology.
• Experience teaching A Level Psychology or equivalent FE/secondary level teaching experience.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of A Level curriculum requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
