Maintenance Officer

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Officer for a temporary contract for a period of around 4 months.

In this role, the maintenance officer will manage our in-house Trade Team and work closely with external contractors to ensure tenants receive an efficient, responsive and high-quality maintenance service. From reactive repairs to planned and cyclical works, you'll play a vital part in maintaining and improving our property assets.

Main Duties:

• Supporting the delivery of excellent investment, reactive, planned and cyclical maintenance services.
• Acting as the main on-site contact for contractors and ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard.
• Leading customer engagement for all asset-related works, ensuring tenants are kept informed and satisfied.
• Driving performance improvements in reactive repairs and reducing void turnaround times.
• Completing pre-, post- and void inspections to ensure quality, compliance and value for money.
• Overseeing the out-of-hours repairs service to ensure effective and timely responses.
• Developing and improving procedures within your remit.
• Bringing forward ideas and contributing to continuous service improvement.

Essential Experience:

• organised and confident with experience in property maintenance and contractor management
• excellent communication skills and a drive to improve services
• excellent understanding of housing, repairs and asset management
