Student Support Assistant

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant / Student Support Worker

Job Type: Temporary

Location: North London

Length of contract: Ongoing

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting male students with physical needs, including hoisting and wheelchair assistance
• Providing personal care and mobility support as required
• Supporting students in class and around the college
• Assisting with learning activities under the direction of teaching staff
• Ensuring student safety and wellbeing at all times

Skills & experience:

• Experience supporting young people with physical or additional needs
• Confident with hoisting, wheelchair support, and personal care (or willing to be trained)
• Experience in an educational or care environment
• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the Update Service
• Available for an immediate start
