Barista / Café Assistant - College Setting (Romford)
£19 per hour | Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary

We are currently recruiting a Barista / Café Assistant to work full-time in a busy college café in Romford. This is a long-term temporary role, ideal for someone reliable who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, including coffee

• Serving food and snacks

• Providing friendly, professional customer service to students and staff

• Operating the till and handling payments

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the café

Requirements:

• Previous barista or café/food service experience preferred

• Confident working in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Food hygiene knowledge desirable (training can be provided)

Role Details:

• Location: College in Romford

• Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday)

• Contract: Long-term temporary

• Pay: £20 per hour
