We're recruiting an experienced Registered Care Home Manager (Level 5 qualified) for a truly unique, flagship care home in Brent
This is not your average care home. The service supports 27 male residents, most at end of life, with complex needs including long-term drug and alcohol dependency. Residents live here permanently, receiving compassionate, specialist palliative care in a stable environment.
About the role
- Full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the care home
- Line management of a Deputy Manager, 6-7 support/project workers and care assistants
- Maintain and build on a Good CQC rating while boosting team morale
- Lead in a mentally stimulating, complex environment where no two days are the same
- Represent the service as a flagship model - attending events, conferences and supporting future growth
About you
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Health & Social Care) - essential
- Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing complexity and emotionally demanding work
- Background in care, mental health, or similar (homelessness experience welcomed but not essential)
- Passionate, resilient and people-focused
- CQC experience preferred, but strong candidates will be fully supported
