Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to work at our Havering campus. There is also a requirement for an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Specialist. Natalie, our SaLT Manager, is in the process of adding Morgan Hunt to the Native request system.



Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and support learners with speech, language, and communication needs
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop and implement personalised communication programmes
• Provide AAC assessments and interventions (for AAC specialist role)
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
• Contribute to multidisciplinary reviews and planning meetings

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist
• HCPC registered
• Experience working with AAC (for AAC specialist role)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

Working Pattern & Pay

• Up to 5 days per week
• £25 per hour
