Salary: £18- £23 PH
Contract: Full-time

🏫 About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Student Mentor to support pupils across 16 - 19 yrs old's with their academic progress, behaviour, and personal development.
You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and stay engaged in education.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students
- Support pupils with behaviour, attendance, and engagement
- Build positive relationships and act as a trusted adult
- Deliver mentoring sessions focused on confidence, resilience, and goal setting
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SENCO
- Monitor and track student progress
👤 About You
- Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, coaching, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with challenging or disengaged students
- Patient, resilient, and proactive
- Passionate about supporting young people to succeed
Desirable:
- Experience in SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision
- Background in psychology, youth work, or education
- Behaviour management training
