Job Title: English Lecturer

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Lecturer for a temporary position in South London. You will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons, supporting students to develop their literacy, analytical skills, and confidence in both language and literature.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons (GCSE and/or A-Level)
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

👤 About You
* Degree in English or a related subject
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) - desirable
* Experience teaching English in a school or FE college setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Passionate about engaging and inspiring learners

Desirable:
* Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level English
* Familiarity with UK curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Experience supporting learners with additional needs
