Are you an experienced Engineering professional looking to move into education, or an established Engineering Technician seeking your next opportunity within Further Education? We are currently working with a leading college in London that is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to support their growing Engineering department from September.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-equipped department delivering high-quality practical learning across a range of Engineering programmes. You will play a key role in supporting both staff and students within workshops and practical teaching environments.
The Role:
- Prepare and maintain engineering workshops, tools, equipment, and materials
- Support lecturers during practical sessions and demonstrations
- Ensure workshops comply with Health & Safety regulations
- Assist students with practical activities and technical support
- Maintain stock levels and organise equipment/resources
Ideal Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering qualification
- Industry experience within Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or General Engineering
- Strong understanding of workshop Health & Safety procedures
- Previous experience within an educational environment is beneficial but not essential
