Location: North London (Hybrid Working)

Rate: £27 - £30 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Organisation & Role
I am partnering with an organisation within the Public Sector and Government to recruit an experienced, resilient, and proactive Tenancy Officer for a 6-month contract.
Based in North London, this role is ideal for a housing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, tenant-focused services to the community.
This position offers a flexible hybrid working model, allowing you to successfully balance remote work with necessary on-site patch management and estate inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Patch Management: Take full operational ownership of a dedicated housing patch consisting of over 600 properties.
ASB Management: Utilise your strong anti-social behaviour knowledge to identify, investigate, and robustly resolve low-to-high-level ASB cases, nuisance, and harassment.
Tenancy Ascertainment: Work within the Public Sector and Government framework to support vulnerable residents, manage complex casework, and coordinate with multi-agency partners.
Enforcement & Legal Action: Address tenancy breaches, prepare comprehensive case files for legal proceedings, and attend court for non-compliance, subletting, or gas safety issues when required.
Community Engagement: Conduct estate inspections, mediate neighbour disputes to prevent escalation, and maintain excellent communication with residents.
What We Are Looking For
Expert Tenancy Management Background: Proven experience working as a Housing or Tenancy Officer within a local authority or housing association setting.
Strong ASB Knowledge: A solid track record of handling complex enforcement cases and utilising mediation skills to resolve community conflict.
Patch Familiarity: Comfortably managing a high-volume caseload of 600+ properties.
Systems Proficiency: Experience using standard public sector housing management systems (such as NEC/Northgate) to maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant records.
