Heating Engineer

Are you a Heating Engineer looking for work in Northamptonshire?



Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a Heating Engineer to provide operational housing maintenance services to enable the continuing improvement of the service to the Council's housing stock and corporate properties.




Under the direction of a designated Repairs Officer, you will undertake a variety of gas work as required in accordance with works orders.




This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will run for 3 months initially.



Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:




· Showcase proven experience in domestic gas and heating maintenance.

· Work within social housing, local authority housing, or a similar residential maintenance environment is highly desirable.

· Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install domestic gas and central heating systems.

· Deliver high-quality reactive maintenance services with a strong focus on achieving first-time fix resolutions.

· Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and industry standards.

· Provide excellent customer service when working within occupied properties.

· Previous experience working within social housing, local authority housing, or a similar residential maintenance environment is highly desirable.




Essential Requirements:




· Valid Gas Safe Registration.

· Full UK Driving Licence.

· Demonstrable experience in domestic gas and heating maintenance.

· Proven ability to deliver first-time fix reactive maintenance repairs.

· CCN1 qualified

· CENWAT qualified

· CKR1 qualified

· CPA1 qualified

· MET1 qualified

· HTR1 qualified

· Range Cooker qualified

· Unvented Hot Water qualified
