🕒 Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced RSAP Support Worker to join a well-established housing support service across South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals to achieve independence and move towards permanent accommodation.
This role offers a hybrid working pattern, with 2 days per week based in the head office and 3 days providing floating support across services in South East London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 14 tenants across 78 bed spaces.
- Deliver person-centred support to clients residing in supported accommodation.
- Complete support plans, risk assessments, reviews, and other associated documentation.
- Provide regular key working sessions focused on achieving positive outcomes.
- Support clients to progress through the housing pathway and secure permanent accommodation.
- Assist clients with accessing benefits, healthcare, employment, training, and community services.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all administrative tasks in line with organisational requirements.
- Apply a basic understanding of housing legislation and tenancy-related matters.
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within supported housing, homelessness, tenancy sustainment, or floating support services.
- Experience managing a caseload and delivering structured support plans.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and support planning.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- Understanding of housing pathways and supporting clients into permanent accommodation.
