Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour + Holiday Pay
Hours: Full Time
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to join a busy and supportive hostel service at Snow Hill Court in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern 14-room hostel supporting individuals with medium to high support needs. The service provides short-term accommodation, with residents typically staying for up to 28 days before moving on to more suitable accommodation and support services.
Working as part of a strong multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in supporting residents, promoting independence, and helping clients engage with relevant services to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to residents with a range of support needs.
- Build positive and professional relationships with clients.
- Complete support plans, risk assessments and case notes.
- Support residents to access housing, health, welfare and community services.
- Assist clients with appointments, referrals and move-on plans.
- Maintain accurate records and update client information using internal systems.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Respond effectively to incidents and safeguarding concerns.
- Promote client wellbeing, independence and positive outcomes.

Shift Pattern
- Early Shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm
- Late Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Requirements
- Previous experience working within homelessness, hostels, supported housing, outreach, housing support or similar settings.
- Strong IT and administration skills.
- Ability to work proactively and use initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
