We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Engineering Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education College. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional with strong workshop and CNC machining experience to help develop the next generation of engineers.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging theory and practical Engineering lessons across Levels 1-3 programmes.
- Teach learners key engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and workshop practices.
- Support the delivery of CNC machining, manual machining, fabrication, and general engineering workshop activities.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- A Level 3 qualification or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on workshop experience, including the operation of CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Recent industry experience within engineering, manufacturing, machining, or production environments.
- A teaching qualification is desirable, although support may be available for industry professionals looking to move into education.
