I'm recruiting a Tenancy Enforcement Lead (ASB Officer) to join a leading organisation delivering high-quality housing services across a regional patch across South West London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enforcement specialist to take ownership of complex Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and tenancy fraud cases, working alongside Housing Management, Supported Housing and Legal teams to deliver positive outcomes for residents and communities.
The Role
As a Tenancy Enforcement Lead (ASB Officer), you will be responsible for managing the most complex ASB and tenancy fraud investigations, preparing legal cases, representing the organisation at County Court, and providing specialist advice to Housing Managers across the region.
Working within the Public Sector and Government sector, you will play a key role in protecting communities, supporting vulnerable residents, and ensuring tenancy enforcement activity is delivered in line with current housing legislation and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex Anti-Social Behaviour and tenancy fraud cases from investigation through to legal action.
- Prepare legal documentation including witness statements, Notices of Seeking Possession and injunction applications.
- Represent the organisation at County Court hearings and act as the lead witness where required.
- Provide specialist guidance and support to Housing Managers on complex enforcement cases.
- Work closely with Legal Services, Supported Housing teams and operational colleagues.
- Develop strong partnerships with Local Authorities, Police and external agencies.
- Deliver training and share best practice across housing teams.
- Ensure all enforcement activity complies with current housing legislation and organisational policies.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience in managing complex ASB and tenancy enforcement cases within social housing.
- Proven experience preparing legal cases and attending County Court.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy law, ASB legislation and housing enforcement procedures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with Police, Local Authorities and partner agencies.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
- Basic DBS clearance.
