The Opportunity
As a Service Analyst, you'll become an integral member of the Technology Operations team, helping to ensure that critical IT services remain reliable, efficient and fit for purpose.
Working alongside Service Managers, suppliers and colleagues across the organisation, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of IT services, coordinate service-related activities and help drive continual service improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in IT Service Management, Project Management or Business Analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Service Managers in managing outsourced IT service providers and ensuring contractual service levels are achieved.
- Act as the first point of contact for service-related queries, escalations and requests.
- Coordinate incidents, problems, changes and service requests, ensuring they are managed effectively.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Produce reports, dashboards and service documentation for management.
- Raise purchase orders and support software licensing, asset management and supplier administration.
- Maintain ServiceNow knowledge articles and Technology intranet content.
- Support IT governance activities, including licence management and telecoms administration.
- Assist with project delivery, testing activities and operational improvements.
- Manage complaints and compliments, ensuring excellent customer service throughout.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and help automate manual activities where possible.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service and wants to build a long-term career within Technology.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a customer-focused IT, Service Desk or Service Management environment.
- A strong understanding of IT Service Management principles.
- Experience working within an ITIL environment (Incident, Problem and Change Management).
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, methodical approach to problem solving.
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks while remaining calm under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to continuously improve services.
Desirable:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Experience working with external suppliers or managed service providers.
- Experience supporting IT projects or service improvement initiatives.
