We're recruiting on behalf of an established and respected substance misuse charity for an experienced Recovery Worker to join their friendly team in Worthing (BN11).

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse achieve lasting recovery.

💼 The Role

As a Recovery Worker, you will:

✨ Manage your own caseload of clients.

📝 Complete assessments, recovery plans and risk assessments.

🤝 Deliver one-to-one keyworking sessions and tailored recovery support.

💡 Provide harm reduction advice and interventions.

🏠 Signpost clients to housing, healthcare, employment and other support services.

📊 Maintain accurate case notes and records.

👥 Work closely with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.

✅ What We're Looking For

✔️ Previous experience within substance misuse, addiction, recovery or support services.

✔️ Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.

✔️ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

✔️ A compassionate, non-judgemental approach.

✔️ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) may be required.
