Maintenance Electrician

Morgan Hunt are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join a large maintenance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the public sector, contributing to the maintenance and safety of facilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the electrical systems are functioning efficiently and effectively, while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
• Collaborate with the estates team to complete necessary works.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and service requests.

Qualifications:

• Time-served electrician with relevant certifications.
• Ideally hold a Level 2 disclosure certificate or be willing to obtain one.
• Experience in institutional or public sector environments is preferred.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• 18th edition wiring regulations preferred; 17th edition will be considered.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
