Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
About the Role / Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an Apprenticeship Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in promoting and managing apprenticeship programs, ensuring that we provide valuable opportunities for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Apprenticeship Operations Manager to coordinate delivery of all apprenticeship and adult skills programs, ensuring learners achieve maximum progression and achievement.
- Monitor apprentices' progress, off-the-job training, and attendance, providing individual support to overcome issues and barriers to learning.
- Implement the new learner management system to provide accurate data and improve visibility of apprenticeship performance.
- Assist the Lead Trainer with developing the Google Classroom online portfolio and electronic training record books.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of government audit and funding rules, incentives, and Skills England policy for apprenticeships.
- Assist with completing all relevant program paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in line with funding rules and quality assurance protocols.
- Plan a program of personal development and enrichment opportunities for apprentices, working with external agencies such as the Association of Apprentices to access benefits for apprentices.
- Help develop the use of AI tools in program delivery and apprentice support, embedding these into processes as relevant.
- Contribute to meeting outcomes of the Quality Improvement Plan and maintain the quality cycle in line with Ofsted inspection framework expectations.
Education Requirements:
- No specific degree required.
- Assessor Award preferred.
- Minimum Grade C or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the education or training sector.
- Experience in engaging with employers and stakeholders.
- Must have knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules.
